Is love for sale?

One of my first dial-up email addresses was luv4sale. That really says a lot about me. But before you judge me, a really interesting insightful but not a scholarly discussion on my Facebook feed over the weekend — would you whore yourself because of the financial impact of COVID?

Let’s say a little gem was shared of someone whom my friends know I have a massive crush on. He was a 10.5 on my scale and an absolute god. I would conversationally objectify this god but know he would never be mine. But in a COVID world where hard cash balances out between your next bill to be paid and not being able to work, what would you do?

Tim: “Would you do it for a million?”

Me: “Yes, but not for small change like thousands.”

I was at a legal age and hungry for the material things in life when I put myself out. In a pre-Grindr age, I never imagined an hour’s work would result in a far bit of cash pressed into my palm. Losing control of myself was not on my cards and I never did it again after that time.

But age changes everything. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve wanted to dictate my experiences so I’ve been on the other end pressing cash into someone’s palm. They were consenting adults and unlike my teenage years, WAY past that legal age.

I got exactly what I want and you did what I want.

Would you pay for an exact sexual desire that you wanted? Like dinner in a nice restaurant, an expensive piece of clothing or that beautiful holiday and not feel morally bankrupt in the process?

I might find out the hard way if I asked my absolute god.
